I have an older burny 3 on cnc plasma system. I have been using FastLINK to connect my pc to the controller. Computer recently died. FastLink and my Black Box modems was a serial port connection. I bought a new computer with USB, bought the serial to USB from Black Box. I downloaded another software and have yet been able to successfully load a program from the controller. The old process was: set your gcode file in a folder that FastLink set up. When you called up that program number from the controller it downloaded into the controller and then I was able to run the program. I am now looking for a connecting software to do the same.
Help please. Thank you for any help.

In your post you said that you "Called up that program number".
What was the process of calling up a program number? Do you mean that you put the CNC into a state where it's waiting for data and you then 'sent' the data by selecting it and 'sending' from the PC?
Or some method of sending a request from the CNC ? If so could you describe that process?
