Todd,

Yes. We saw your payment and then saw that you cancelled it 20 minutes later.

When you make payment via paypal you should receive our email confirmation and instructions for product activation within just a few minutes.

Please check and adjust your spam filter.

I just sent you another email - You didn't reply yet - I guess you didn't get that one either.

I know it's the weekend but we're here 7 days a week, 365 days a year (yes, even holidays).

Todd. It sounds as if you don't know how PayPal works.

You selected the option to make payment via PayPal. This option is usually selected by buyers who have PayPal accounts and who know how PayPal works. It is a very secure way to make payments online where the seller (we) never see any of the buyer's (you) personal or financial details. But maybe confusing for people who have never used paypal before.

In your case you made the payment to PayPal - if the money came direct from your checking account then you must have an arrangement with PayPal to authorise that.

PayPal then made the payment to our PayPal account.

20 minutes later you cancelled the payment because you didn't receive anything from us. So, on your instructions, PayPal took the money back out of our PayPal account. So we do not have your money. "You or Your" PayPal account has the money.

Do you have a PayPal account login? If you login to your PayPal account do you see any pending actions/payment reversals that you need to to click to confirm/accept ?

By the way - I agree that 20 minutes is extreme but nowadays is not rare. The USA is currently in financial lockdown where many online payments take longer than expected. Especially in cases such as software licences where no physical product is shipped banks at both ends of a transactions are increasingly required to make additional security checks.

So, personally, I think 20 minutes, although a little longer than expected, in not rare nowadays.
