Topic: CNC Machine not seeing Program when sending

We Have 11 seat of Remote DNC and they have been running fine
In the last two day Two PC with Remote DNC are sending Progam but the CNC is not Seeing the Program , one is a Fanuc and the other is Okuma , Same problem ,

We just disable windows FIFO , that didn't work

Was the communication working with these CNCs and now it's failed?

Or are these CNCs that have recently been connected and have never worked yet.?

Not seeing the program would usually be a missing control character at the start or end of the program. For example a fanuc program usually starts and ends with a % percent symbol like this

O1234
..
..
M30
%

Also be aware that the program name/number is prefixed by an upper case letter O but in some cases you might need to change that to a : colon symbol lile this

:1234
..
..
M30
%

The option to prefix with : or O is configured in the fanuc's parameters.

Yes ,The Communication was Working and Now it's Failed
Lost Communication on Sending only , two Differance Control FANUC and OSP .
And it's not the Cable , we try one that is Working ,
We are using Windows-7

If it was working but now it's stopped working then obviously something has changed.

Can you give a little more information. When you send to the fanuc does it throw an alarm? Does the progress bar on the dnc computer go from 0 to 100% or does it stop mid way?

Can another computer send to that fanuc? Can this computer send to other fanucs?

Yes , Another computer can send to the fanuc , We try that.Also use that wire on the computer the will not communicate with the Machine Control .did not work.
The Okuma OSP , DNC compter run 100%
Okuma then Alarm ( 9022 no receive data during ready wait time )
Will have to try the Fanuc Tuesday
