Topic: drip feeding question, Fanuc 10 control
|
By: Chappyd | Posted on: May 14 2009 at 02:52:04 PM | I`m trying the trial version of easy dnc. I`m using a notebook computer with a usb to serial cable, and have the software installed and is recognized as com 3. I use NC plot to load programs to and from the machines, 3 fanucs a 10,11,and 15, and also a yasnac3 control using the usb/serial cable, no problems.
I need to drip a longer program into our fanuc 10. This machine has used drip feed before with an ancient mastercam program that we had at the old shop. We`re in a different location and no longer have the old set-up to work with. Can someone help me with the proper settings? I can get the program to start, but I get through about 50 lines of code before it stops.
Will my set-up work with easydnc?
Thanks,

Does it just stop sending data or does an error/alarm occur in the Fanuc ?
Does easyDnc display a small message box saying something like "Waiting for CNC" ?
Let me know any alarm codes displayed by the control. | |
