I have EasyDNC 4.7a. Is it possible to drip feed with this version?

Yes.
Enable flow control in easyDnc setup. On something like a Fanuc you enable x-On/x-Off flow control and then get your program ready to send but don't hit the send button yet. On the fanuc you put it into Tape mode and hit cycle start. Nothing happens at this point but then go to easyDnc and hit Send. As data starts to flow the CNC starts cutting, milling or whatever.
Those are instructions for a fanuc. Other machines have similar methods.
