I have a fagor 8025 control which is linked to a pc for program storage. short programs will send and recieve but longer programs wont.

Are you able to give us a little more information ?
What happens when you try to send longer programs to the cnc ? Do you get an alarm ? What alarm is it?
Do you have flow control enabled ?
Are you able to send longer programs from the cnc to the computer ?
