When receiving data from the controller we are getting 4-5 blank lines between every good line of code.
Any ideas how to resolve this? It is not an issue on our 0m and 15m controls using easyDNC.
Thanks

Two things for you to check.
First thing is a setting in easyDnc`s setup. There`s a setting labeled `Force CR/LF`. This is supposed to remove unwanted blank lines which are being sent by the fanuc.
Second thing to check. (I did say that the blank lines are being sent by the fanuc, they`re not being inserted by easyDnc). In the fanuc is a setting/parameter labeled "Punch Block End" or "Line end" or something like that. It`s usually set to "LF" but it can also be changed to "LFLFCR" or other combinations of CRLF (CarriageReturn, Line Feed) Take a look at that and make sure it`s either LF or CRLF if that`s available. But not double LF or you get blank lines.

Forcing the carriage return/line feed option took care of it.
I`m just curious as to why the 0m and 15m (Force CR/LF are unchecked) do not behave the same as the 11mm?
Thanks again for your help.

As I mentioned in my previous post, there`s a parameter in the Fanuc which says what codes to send as a Line/Block end. Your machines probably have that set differently.
