Recently my company upgraded my computer to Windows7. I have tried several times to setup easy dnc automatically and it will not see the machine. Any suggestions?

For something as simple as a fanuc I wouldn't bother with the autodetect/portscan.
Just go to the fanuc settings page in the cnc and make a note of the baud rate.
Also Make sure it's punching ISO. (not EIA)
Then go into easyDnc setup and Set
Mode=Fanuc
7bits even parity.
Same baud rate as the fanuc.
Save and exit setup. Then open the easyDnc Receive window. Go to the fanuc and punch out a program.
What happens?

Sometimes file transfer will not run, even if all the settings are correct.
The following procedure may correct the problem, especially if you're running the machine via DNC:
Check to make sure your FIFO buffers disabled on the PC.
You access the settings in Control Panel -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager.
Find your COM ports and double click the one you are communicating with.
Click the tab for Port Settings then Advanced. Uncheck the FIFO buffers.
Having this turned on can cause problems with RS232 transfer, especially DNC.
