I updated to version 4.1 from 4.0 and I no longer can communicate with one of my CNC lathes. How do I go back to the older version?

download and install the previous "update" and that will "DownGrade" you.

version 4.0k

Do not uninstall - just install that update on top of 4.1 to downgrade yourself back to 4.0k

But, to solve the problem you may wish to contact us by email - it's probably just a setting that needs changing.
