Hello, back to trying to conquer dnc remo after a couple week lapse. I have disconnected wireless adaptor and am hooking cable direct from machine to com port on a desk top computer. Everything ok so far, one small problem. When I down load a program from the machine to the computer, all spaces are dropped between lines(after a tool has completed we use two spaces so that the operater can see tools for set up). When I send from computer to machine everything is ok. thanks chris c. ps. program looks fine during port scan. running @ 4800 baud,even, 7 & 2

In the setup window is an option "FORCE CR/LF".

Some CNC`s send out data with strange line formats which makes the data look strange when viewing with a windows Text editor such as Windows Notepad and some other editors.

The option, FORCE CR/LF makes sure that lines in the program are correct for viewing in a Windows text editor. Sometimes this option also removes empty lines.

You can try disabling that option in setup.

In some versions of easyDnc Remo there was an error where that option could not be disabled. This `bug` has now been fixed and an update should be available from the updates page on the www.dncremo.com website

I just checked th updates page and see that there`s no specific mention of this subject. Try the latest update anyway and then try disabling that option in setup. If it has no effect please come back and let me know. In the meantime I`ll take a look to see where the update got to. I know it`s been done but it may be waiting for some other work or testing to be completed before final release.

tried installing sp30q download, now when I click on dncremo. exe, says that my 60 day trial has expired , when I put in act. code it shuts down and code required every time I click on exe. file, please help I am anxious to get your program working well. thanks chris c

Just confirm for me that you`re using the trial version (You didn`t buy it yet)

If you are using the trial and it`s expired then send me an email - I can issue another activation code that`ll allow you another 60 days.

I`m still trying to work the bugs out of the trial version. Just to be sure I am doing the upgrade correctly. I downloaded from the link you gave me and the installed the update into the dnc remo folder, does this sound right?

Yes, sounds right.

Click the small yellow [?] question mark button which you see near the top of the main program window. This displays a small window showing a version number. Compare that with the version you think it should be.

The remo `task` window shows a number in the top right corner. something like p.x.x What`s that ?
