Topic: Haas VF-1 and VF-3

I am having some trouble comunicating with both my Haas machines. I have tried three different rs232 cables and no luck there. when I run the port scan function I recieve no information back to my laptop. also when i send a file to the cnc it just sits in wait mode to recive the file no error message. I am sure that I am not comunicating but not sure what where to start. any help would be great. thank you

Let me know how your cables are configured.

Sorry for the false alarm, everything seems to work for now. I am drip feeding a 15 MB file, and running the CNC slow to try and see what happens when the buffer gets full. So far so good on one machine, I will try the other once it is available, but I would expect similar results.

I like the look and feel of DNCXP, nice program, and the easiest of the handfull I have tried over the last week.
