Topic: Mazak Strippit 1000NX turret punch nibbling problem fanuc 6M

when setting the NBL/ command the machine nibbles in one spot (will not stop) but X & Y axis' do not move (eg NBL/ precedes HOL/ command etc) however, if I run machine with the punch switched off the program operates as it should with the table moving.
Is this a programming error, parameter setting issue, or machine fault?
Machine is mechanical punch with air clutch & brake.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Proximity switch located at crank shaft cam block was faulty, replaced and working fine
