It may be of use to someone that one of the connections uses 50 metres of 8 core cable and we`re running at 9600 baud without any problems.
I understand that if long cable lengths are used, you normally have to slow the baud rate down to reduce the risk of transmission error.
Very pleased with software :D
I`ve printed off an invoice and passed it on to our accounts. They`re going to send a cheque. I have given them the software serial number, but I was wondering, if that information or my email address was not included with the payment, how are you going to let me have a permanent activation code?

50 mtrs is usually ok although I wouldn`t guarantee it in writing I`ve installed a 100 mtrs + but, as you say, over longer distances it`s best to lower the datarate.
Radioshack or Farnell sell handy little `line drivers` which can be plugged on each end of the cable to achieve distances of up to 1000 meters.
As for the activation code. Send me an email with your company name and product serial number. There`s bound to be something on the check or included with the payment that`ll identify your payment when it arrives.
