I have a old laptop that I would really like to utilize in the machine shop for upload/dowload using the latest version of easydnc.
The laptop has Windows ME as an operating system...will it work?

The latest version of easyDnc should install and work just fine on an old laptop running any version of windows.
Information below only for windows95 users.
In some rare case on very old versions of windows (usually windows95) you may need to download the windows95 version.
www.dncxp.com/dncxpz95.exe
Once that's installed then don't even bother running it, just install the latest version over the top and use that.

You can get USB-to-RS232 adapters very low cost. That would usually have a short cable with a 9pin connector on the RS232 end. Just plug your existing dnc cable into that.
