Topic:   Problem switching machines on screen

I have installed easyDNC with 7 CNC machines on a Windows XP system that is networked. All 7 machines communicate properly with easyDNC.

Problem is after sending and/or receiving from the selected machine we cannot click on another machine to work with. We are exiting eastDNC and restart easyDNC to get top the next machine.

Any Ideas?
Thanks

During a file transfer to the CNC easyDnc hides the `Send` button and displays the `Pause/Stop` buttons. When all the data has been transfered the `Send` button reappears.

When you send a file to a machine the machine may close its port before easyDnc has completely sent all the data. For example some files may contain data at the end that the machine doesn`t want so it closes it`s port leaving easyDnc with the last few bytes of data unaware that the machine doesn`t want them.

You can see when this happens because the `Pause/Stop` button are still visible, meaning easyDnc is still trying to send, even though the machine has received all of the data.

You can`t click any other machine icon while the Pause/Stop buttons are visible.

Click the stop button. This should make easyDnc dump any unwanted bytes and the Send button reappears and you should then be able to click another machine icon.

Please try that and come back and let us know what happened. Also which mode easyDnc is set to use. Also the version number of easyDnc (Click the small yellow [?] question mark button to see the version number)
