We are testing the REMODNC (very impressed so far) and we have an issue with saving files in REMO mode. We have two machines connected:
1. MORI SEIKI with a Fanuc Series 15 - M
2. Doosan ACE VC500 Fanuc Series 18i -MB
REMO is set up exactly the same on both machines:
Mode FANUC
Remo Reqst Tag 9999
Extension NC
Incoming Program Names AlphaNumeric
Yet the files sent from the MORI SEIKI will save as O1234.NC whereas the files saved from the VC500 save as 1234.NC.
We would like to keep the O1234.nc as that is what everyone is used to. Is there a setting that will enable the O to be reconised?
Many thanks

That is because the fanuc is configured to send the : instead of O.
You need to make the change in the fanuc's parameters.
