please all help me to enter the tape mode of fanuc 10m by any methods
the machine not have any switch key to enter tape mode
i read ht may be setting in parameter do that
how ?
can any body help me

Some fanuc do have a setting in the machine parameters to enable drip feeding but there is still a switch, button or option on the front panel to actually engage it.

"Tape" Mode is also known as "Auto" on some machines.

please help me, i tried to transfer some code to CNC, the msg appear :
- transfer read.. with no file name appear,
- reading information valid
- tape parity ?
what does it mean ?

dahlih mcv610 fanuc 10m all mode show but tape mode not show and program not receive by pc...plz help me...i have no pc parameter

Sorry. I'm not sure I fully understand what you mean.

You said program is not received by PC. So that sounds like you are trying to send from the CNC to the PC/Computer? When doing that 'Tape' mode is not relevant. Just put EasyDNC into 'Receive' mode. (normal receive, not remo mode) and go to the CNC and 'Punch/Send' the program. Do you get anything on the computer display? Does the CNC appear to send anything? Or does it throw an alarm? or what?

'Tape' mode is not a mode within the computer/PC software. Tape mode is a mode that you set at the CNC.

thanks support....i mean my machine lost all parameter..and later i install all nc parameter.but not install pmc parameter.cause i have no pmc parameter..i need fanuc 10m pmc parameter...may be tape mode dont show display and work without pmc parameter..pmc prm is timer,counter,keep relay,data.

plz help me...what can i do..can i check parameter..can u tell me which parameter is tape reader parameter....if option parameter is wrong..then tape reader work not properly?i guess it...i appriciate u.

My understanding of the Fanuc PMC data is that it's the low level PLC ladder program.

Think of the fanuc like a computer. The 'CNC' is like the operating system and PMC is the low level PC BIOS.
DNC and TAPE mode are functions to get external data into CNC. The CNC then sends commands to PMC and PMC steers the hardware.

If you have no PMC then then nothing is going to work at all till the PLC is reprogrammed. But them how sure are you that the PMC is gone?

Select "Tape Mode" on the control. Press Cycle Start. Then on the DNC software press send.
