I have version easy dnc xp 2.11 if i upgrade to version 4.0 will it automatically put all the machines and programs saved into the new version.

It will read your current easyDnc settings so you won`t need to set it all up again.
It won`t touch your CNC programs so you`ll find them in the same place.
upgrading to 4.0 is quite painless and doesn`t make any changes to v2 so if you don`t like 4 you can simply ignore it and go back to using 2.11
The main difference between the two versions relates more to Windows compatibility issues rather than any major changes to the easyDnc software. v4 is more compatible with Windows Vista.
If you`ve used Vista you`ll have noticed there`s a ton of additional user security issues which can be a real pain for non-vista aware applications. V4 is Vista Aware so works with all the Vista User Account Security etc
