Website doesn't mention windows 11. IS Easydnc remodnc compatible with 64bit windows 11?

Hi, we updated our system to Windows 11 now I get a Remo alarm "THIS DNC task is configured to use Com 3 but the port could not be found Com 3 could not be found on your computer?" my question is which USB to Serial adapter is recommended for Windows 11 ?

We can't recommend any specific hardware.
You need to go to the web site of the manufacturer of the serial adapter and get devoce drivers. The drivers built into windows (any version) are often not reliable) But I don't think there will be any difference between Windows 10 and Windows 11

We deployed a Windows 11 desktop, Prolific USB-to-Serial dongle with Windows natives drivers and it works flawlessly.

As Jack said, we too purchased USB to Serial cable which is what we use to connect our laptop to the CNC Machine for all file types (we use a different software for or QT's though). We had to configure the serial usb and COM port with a driver, but after that this Easydnc software its a doddle to transfer ISO files - we have tried a few others and this seems to be the best one yet!

Also works fine with ethernet/wifi network serial port servers. We have 12 CNC machines in groups of 4. Easy to put a 4 port wifi box next to the group of machines with a short rs232 cable from the box to each machine. Computer in the office. Users request machine files from their machine without coming in to the office. Neat.
