is it possible to run Remo DNC 5.0 from a Windows 8 tablet? Windows RT? this would make for a great and inexpensive machine interface that could be mounted right on the machine.

I use it on a microsoft Surface tablet running Windows 8 Pro.
Windows 8 Pro. Not RT.

Even works on RT. Have the demo running on surface pro2 256GB SSD 8.1rt x64. No problemo. Super DNC program!! No other program does run on win8 64bit. Tried a lot of them.

Are you sure it's RT ? I thought Surface PRO was full WIndows 8. Not RT .
But yes. V5 is a proper 64bit application but can also step down to run in 32bit mode on older hardware.
