Trying to reset up my lathe now, basically what has happen is we were using an old PC to run our mill and lathe and it crashed. We bought a newer PC and I believe the speed this thing is pushing is part of the problem.
So I`ve got all the parameters setting exactly the same as when I had the old PC hooked up.
Amera-Seiki TC-2 Lathe with a Fanuc O-T Series Controller.
Parameters settings are:
1200 Baud
7 Data
Even Parity
1 Stop bit
Flow control is set to hardware.
this is how it was previous as well and worked fine.
now I`m getting a 073 Alarm.
thanks for you help.

073 is an Overwrite alarm
It means you`re trying to load a program that already exists in CNC memory.
Check that the program number doesn`t already exist.

Sorry, that's not much information to go on
"Not Ready" might indicate that your cable is not connected/wired correctly.
At the CNC end of the cable you usually need to make a short link between pins 6, 8 and 20 If you didn't have that link you'd usually get a something like a Not Ready error on the CNC display.
