We are having trouble just sending to the matsui seiki machining center with a Fanuc 15 M control. We did the auto port scan and saved settings, But whenn we send a small program to the machine we get a framing error. We can send a program from the machine to the easydnc program and receive it but we can not send to the machine. Running windows Xp with a belkin USB to 9 pin serial converter, seen as com 3. Tried lowering the baud rate all the way to 1200. This is a trial version and we would like to test it out but are having no luck, have four more machines to setup if this works. Please get back to us a s quick as possible.

It's probably a Parity Error. Depending on the type of serial port in the computer easyDnc can sometimes detect the wrong settings. This happens occasionally on USB ports which have error correcting built in which confuses portscan.

Check the Parity in easyDnc - Fanuc is usually 7bits Even Parity - change easyDnc to that and try again.
